As a young lad, kid Jones dreamed of going on grand voyages, going out into the world and seeing what it had in store for him, that is what Jones dreamed for. Jones was raised by his mom and only his mom; Jones' dad was nowhere to be found. A year later from when Jones was brought into this world, Jones' dad had vanished. It was said that Jones' dad had simply just gone out to sea to explore Paradise but Jones' mom disagreed. Davey's mom knew where Jones' dad had gone but she would never speak up about it, she didn't want to speak up about it, it was a secret.

Anyway, Jones was a boy who had hung around Water Seven a lot, running into trouble here and there but never doing any heinous or punkish things to the people of Water Seven. Jones had a good sense of morals and loved to help out docking ships dock their ships onto the docks of Water Seven, it was a hobby of his that soon turned into a job at the age of 17. Once he had become 18, Jones' would go on to begin his occupation as a Navigator for Water Seven. As a newly made Navigator for Water Seven, Jones' was let to test new ships produced by Water Seven's shipwrights. It was a fun and enjoyable job Jones had but he wanted a lot more than just that, Jones wanted to head out to sea and explore the oceans. At the age of 19, Jones' mom was kidnapped, she was taken by the World Government.

"Why was Mom taken? What is it that they want from her? I'm just going have to discover out why as I take her back!"

And so the boy's voyage then began, Jones would begin to search for his mom who was taken in by the World Government and probably apprehended. The day Jones' mom was taken was the same day Jones would have begun to be hunted down by the World Government but for reasons yet unknown to Jones. Lucky and unlucky for Jones, he was out on a sea voyage when the World Government had come to apprehend and take his mom into custody. Neighbors of Jones' had told him that the World Government had come for him also but cause he wasn't at home or on Water Seven at the moment that the World Government had simply let him go. Jones isn't yet aware of it but his dad is a wanted man.
