Selima knelt by Vice Admiral SEBASTION NOLAN 's side, gaze averted as she tied a bandage around a non-existent wound on his upper arm. Her hands shook slightly, tail twitching back and forth almost violently behind her back - the result of badly repressed emotions. The bandage around Nolan's arm was pulled tight, perhaps a little too tight if she was being honest before Selima finally locked eyes with the man. Annoyance was clear in her red gaze, but beneath that was a little bit of shame. If it weren't for the soft, white mink covering her face he'd be able to see that her cheeks were red with embarrassment. Her gaze flickered from left to right, making sure they were still relatively secluded in their little corner of the pirate ship, before leaning closer and speaking softly. "I don't need a babysitter," she stressed, "I had things perfectly under control, thanks," she hissed.
Okay, maybe Selima wasn't being perfectly honest. This whole mission was beginning to feel a bit like some odd fever dream and not real life. If you'd told her a month ago that she'd be aboard a pirate ship, posing as a doctor, and acting boarder-line insubordinate to a Vice Admiral of all people she would have asked for a glass of whatever you'd been drinking. And yet, here she was, very much in the real world and living this as her actual life.
FLASHBACK
Hands clasp tightly behind her back, it took all of Selima's limited self-control to restrain herself and keep her posture perfectly straight. This was her first time officially meeting Vice Admiral Sebastion Nolan - not only that, but she was receiving orders for a solo mission. This was her chance, the opportunity she had been waiting for since joining the ranks of the Marines years ago - to prove herself. Being a Lieutenant in the Marines was certainly an accomplishment in and of itself, especially given her young age, but she had her sights set much higher - Cipher Pol - and the only way to get there was to prove her worth. So she stood before the Vice Admiral and a few other high ranking Marines, posture perfect and mouth clamped tightly shut to stop herself from saying something stupid and fucking up this opportunity for herself. During the whole briefing Selima barely spoke, and once it was all over she nodded curtly before high-tailing it out of the room they'd been in and jumping for joy the moment the door shut behind her, a grin nearly splitting her face.Of course, things had gone downhill from there.Infiltrating Henriette the Shaded's crew - The Chaos Pirates - had been easy enough. The woman was notorious for the ultimatum she gave nearly every person she came across - die, or join her ranks. When all was said and done it had taken Selima two days to track down The Chaos Pirates, and another day to get herself "captured" and offered the ultimatum. Given the fact that the crew was so large, it was another few days before she actually caught a glimpse of the captain. Despite her reputation, she was a rather unassuming looking woman - of average height and build with dark brown curls that hung down to her waist. She had a habit of dressing mostly in black and was also known for being fashionable. All and all she was rather unremarkable looking - probably why the Marines had so little information on her - but she ruled her crew with an iron fist and there was a darkness in her eyes that showed she was a woman who was willing to do unspeakable things for more power.Captain Henriette also proved to be a difficult person to get close to, and nearly a month into her infiltration Selima had yet to make any progress on her mission. She'd been given a position aboard the ship as a supplementary doctor - mostly because the crew was so large it didn't matter that she only knew rudimentary medical skills, anyone with any skill was put to work keeping the massive crew healthy. As she grew more and more frustrated with herself she had communicated her progress less and less with the Marines - mostly because there was hardly any progress to report. So, it should have come as no surprise when she found that another Marine had joined the ranks of The Chaos Pirates.Of course, she hadn't expected it to be the fucking Vice Admiral.
PRESENT DAYRegardless of his reasons, and regardless of Selima's emotions, the Vice Admiral was here and here to stay - if he left, it could potentially jeopardize the mission. Still, that didn't mean Selima had to approve of him being here. This was her mission, goddammit, and she was perfectly capable of doing it on her own. You know, even though she'd already been at it a month and had hardly made any progress. Infiltration was a delicate process. Huffing out an irritated sigh, she stood and crossed her arms over her chest. "Well, just try not to get in my way," she whispered furiously. Okay, so maybe that was not a good way to speak to a higher ranking Marine, but she was more than a little upset with this whole situation - which was evident from the pout on her face.

"We are the heroes of our time"
The soft ocean breeze caressed Sebastion's smug face as he acknowledged Selima's apparent irritation with a wry grin. "Hah! I best not it seems! You've got quite the job cut out for you" he replied with more than a little cheek. After she finished bandaging his forearms, which had been self deemed a good touch to his makeshift disguise, Sebastion gestured towards Selima in order for her to turn her attention towards where he was looking. A sickly crewmen who was clearly unaccustomed to sea-faring travel, had succumbed to his nausea by hurling across the deck in a rather revolting manner. Unappreciative remarks came from other pirates in the vicinity, as the man darted for the ship's side to reduce the mess on deck."It looks like you have a new patient on your hands, Doctor Selima. I wouldn't want to keep you from your duties now would I?" Sebastion remarked brazenly, merely attempting to poke at Selima's current attitude. Since meeting her it had proved a fun endeavor to make jest of her eccentricity from time to time when circumstance allowed it. Of course, Sebastion had read enough filed reports documenting Lieutenant Selima's military career to know she was well above the cut of your average marine. While a little savage at times, he did hold his fellow marine in high regard.
It was a rather unconventional task he had been given from HQ; revolving around evaluating Lieutenant Selima on behalf of Cipher Pol. In all honesty such tactics as espionage, and the skills encompassing it, were not very refined in Sebastion's repertoire of abilities. However, he assumed this mission was just as much a learning experience for himself as it was an assessment for Selima. Such a deduction was made quite evident for Sebastion as he dreaded the state of his pirate attire. Ragged black and grey cloth garments adorned his body, with an accompanying pair of glasses, to throw off any recognition that might come his way from his now bookish looking face. The best way he could describe his appearance was being more akin to a scholarly vagrant than a pirate. Well, perhaps it was not too out of the ordinary, as he himself had not been honored with a given role aboard the ship. He was merely known to everyone save Selima, as Sebastion the ragged looking fresh recruit. No one would really assume much of him considering he was a bottom of the barrel lackey for Captain Henriette.
A clamor of excited voices from further up-deck managed to garner Sebastion's attention away from the sickly fellow before them, as he turned to see what the commotion was about. To his relief they had at last reached Sabaody Archipelago in one piece. Much of the rest of the crew that were just now cluing into their approaching destination, began running amok the deck in order to furl the sails and finish the last of their duties before disembarking. After a moments distraction, he turned his attention back towards Selima with a sheepish smile. "Heh, just kidding. I don't think anyone here would expect you to bother with mending that man's sea sickness" he replied with a slight chuckle. Sebastion gazed around to make sure none could overhear them before he continued with a hushed whisper. So it seems Sabaody is upon us now. Do you ha-" he began before one of their higher ranking crew members interrupted.
"Oi you two! Get ready to head for the docks and await your orders" the lanky fellow bellowed towards them with an authoritative pointing of his index finger towards the nearing docks. The man went by the name of "Dread Bringer" Jones, and was a core member of the Chaos Pirates. It would be a wise decision to disregard an order issued from him if they wanted to maintain their cover. "Aye sir! We'll be ready!" Sebastion responded with an affirmative nod before the pirate Jones stomped off in a huff. Leaning towards Selima's ear he quickly whispered his request to become debriefed on her plan of action whence they found the opportunity upon shore. Let's discuss our game-plan once we have a chance to get away from these goons"

Turning towards where Sebastion gestured, Selima couldn't help but grimace as she watched the poor bastard that had been pointed out succumb to his seasickness. It was easy for her to relate, in a way, given the fact that she'd spent the last few years on the sea despite the fact that she hated water. Then again, that had been her choice and the man currently heaving over the edge of the ship probably hadn't been afforded that choice - or, rather, he'd been given the "join or die" choice, which really wasn't much of a choice anyway.
Still, Selima couldn't help the way her lips curled in disgust at the sight of the mess on the deck. As Sebastion had so helpfully pointed out, caring for seasickness fell under her jurisdiction, probably. Not that Selima had any idea of what she'd be able to do to help the miserable man. Bandaging up cuts and scrapes was easy enough, but if she was asked to do anything more than that things might get a little dicey. It probably hadn't been the best idea to lie about having medical skills, but she'd thought having an actual role aboard the ship would help with the infiltration.
Obviously, she had been wrong.
Just as she was beginning to get agitated all over again Sebastion admitted he was joking. Selima made a low noise in her throat that sounded suspiciously like a growl as she leveled him with a cross look. They'd only been reunited for a short time and already the Vice Admiral had managed to get under her skin - not that it took much, to be perfectly honest. Before Selima could come up with some sharp retort, "Dread Bringer" interrupted and gave them the order of readying themselves and to wait for further instruction. As one of the core members of The Chaos Pirates it was best to be on his good side - even if he'd found himself a place on Selima's bad side with his abrasive demeanor. Nodding her acknowledgment, as soon as the man turned his back her expression turned to a glare as she watched his back disappear.
"Yeah, yeah," She murmured, agreeing with Sebastion as she began to walk towards where the other members of the crew were already gathering. Once they set their feet on dry land it wouldn't be too hard to shake off the crew and find a more secluded place to talk a little more freely. For better or for worse it seemed like she was now stuck working this assignment with the Vice Admiral - so she might as well put him to work. As much as she was loath to admit it, two heads were better than one when it came to this type of stuffing - all the secrecy and planning.
"S'alright, shut yer' yappin' mouths ya worms!" A bellowing voice cut through the chatter, silencing all the crew who had been summoned to disembark at the docks. Nelson "Silver-Eye" stared them down, named as such because of the fact that he wore a shiny, silver false eye after he'd lost his in a fight. Another one of the core members of The Chaos Pirates. Silence immediately fell, and "Silver-Eye" set to work pointing out people and assigning them jobs. Selima stood, waiting for him to point at her and dreading what she knew would come out of his mouth. "Ah, Kitten," the detestable nickname fell out of his mouth as he pointed a Selima, mouth twisting to one side and a lecherous grin. "We're runnin' low on supplies, so yer to carry 'em as these ones get 'em," he instructed, and Selima carefully kept her face blank as she nodded in acknowledgment. As if the terrible nickname wasn't enough she clearly wasn't considered strong or competent enough to do anything besides carrying supplies.
Oh well, if all went well they'd soon be seeing just how competent she was. Then it'd be her turn to grin.
"An' you bunch," here "Silver-Eye" gestured to a group, including Sebastion, "you'll be gettin' the supplies, as much as ye can," the actual pirates among the group grinned, while those few who had been forced into the crew shared uneasy looks with each other. They knew they wouldn't be given any Beri to buy supplies with - they were expected to use force to get what they could. "Let's see what ye got, newbies," he cackled. "Anyone who fucks up can 'xpect a meetin' with my love, Susan. She'll give you a nice lil' kiss," he roared, pushing back the coat he was wearing to expose an over-sized pistol at his waist. "Now, OFF!"
At the command, some yelled and whooped, mostly the actual pirates of the crew, but with the threat, 'Silver-Eye" had given them looming over their heads everyone took off at a run to get done what needed to be done to save their lives. "He's a huge prick," she murmured, just loud enough for Sebastion to hear as they jogged down the docks and towards the town they had docked at. Already Selima could hear the screaming of civilians, and the ears atop her head twitched.

"We are the heroes of our time"
Sebastion winced uncomfortably at the nickname Silvereye had given Selima. Oh he knew how such a name could really push her buttons. Even his own jesting would never cross the line of condescendingly referring to her mink features. He had to give her credit for not letting the provocation get to her. Fortunately for him he was disregarded as not even being worth acknowledging with a name. It was rather evident that a steep pecking order ran straight up to the vice captain herself. Until you proved otherwise you were simply deemed a bag of walking flesh that had to conduct the dirtiest and most menial of tasks. After an unsettling threat from Silvereye, Sebastion and the other new recruits hurried off to do whatever it took to avoid a date with Susan. He had to stifle his laughter at Selima's comment about good old Silver Eye as she trailed behind him towards the town "You can say that again. That old bugger certainly has one huge stick up his ass" he managed to reply taking caution to make sure no one of importance overheard him.
While outwardly retaining a calm demeanor in the wake of the events that were now unfolding, Sebastion was feeling rather exasperated by how quickly things had escalated. The chaos pirates had maintained a minimal presence in the past few weeks as they had made their voyage towards Sabaody. Sebastion himself had been posing as a shipwreck victim that happened to conveniently cross their paths during these ruffians travels. Like clockwork they had saved him only to force him to join their ranks. While fierce and violent, the chaos pirates were nothing if predictable. However, this assumption had proved to be a grave mistake, as he had presumed them to be attempting to reach the lawless lands of Sabaody without harassing civilians.
As far as he knew their ship had been well stocked with supplies, thus attaining more now seemed unnecessary. Perhaps this was more a test in order to ascertain the new recruits loyalty before initiating them as full fledged crew members? Well, perhaps for Sebastion and the other grunts with them. Selima had already been accepted as one of the medical crew members, as she had been residing with the crew for a longer time now. If they had sent her with them in order to keep an eye on their newest members, than perhaps more trust had been given to the lieutenant than Sebastion had first assumed. He would not be surprised if they outwardly mocked her as "kitten" in order to put the other new recruits off guard. Or maybe not. Silvereye could just be dick with nothing more to it. He would have to inquire further with Selima when he had the chance. Before long they had reached the end of what could be traversed of the paved road that had led them from the docks towards the town. A roaring fire now stood in their wake between the stone cobbled walls that ran the length of the town's perimeter. Where once a massive oaken gate had stood now only the fires of destruction sat spreading their insidious touch towards other nearby shrubbery. "Looks like we're going to have to find another way..." Sebastion thought allowed. "S-shit! What should we do? Silvereye will kill us if we don't hurry back with supplies!"One of the other recruits managed to stammer fearfully.
Scratching his head thoughtfully for a moment, a fine idea came to him in the wake of the other grunts alarmed indecision. "Hmm, I've got an idea" Sebastion began as he reached into a chest pocket and pulled out a sizeable coin purse. With a friendly smile he tossed the pouch towards one of the other grunts as the receiving man fumbled to grab at it"Take this and see if you can reach Greenleaf village from here to buy supplies. It's going to take forever for all of us to climb this wall and carry back what we manage to forcefully take from the towns people here. You wouldn't want to keep old Silvereye waiting would you? Me and Selima will try to take back what we can from here while you guys are gone"
The other recruits proved not very difficult to persuade as none had taken the life of a pirate by choice it seemed. Any chance to avoid conflict was an opportunity they would gladly take. "Uuhh... T-thanks, we'll do that. the portly man holding the pouch of money managed to spout before the others could proclaim their own agreement towards Sebastion's plan. After a moment the others dashed off into the woodlands not too far off from the paved path in order to attain supplies as fast as they could. With a sigh of relief, Sebastion was glad for the moment that those louts did not prove reluctant. Any of the other more distinguished members of the crew would have attempted to kill him where he stood if such an idea had been suggested in their earshot.
Further screams of anguish broke Sebastion's momentary train of thought as he looked towards the direction of the township."It seems we're alone for a time now. The others already in town wont be as easy to dissuade from harming the townspeople. Got any ideas Selima?" he asked with a sense of urgency in his tone.

Selima smelled the smoke before she saw it - the massive, oaken gate to the city engulfed in flames. The flames licked towards the nearby shrubs which were already beginning to looked singed. Mingled with the crackling sounds of the fire were shrieks of terror that had Selima's mink standing on end. This was, by far, the most difficult part of being undercover. This was her third time pillaging a town with The Chaos Pirates, and it was proving not to be any easier than the first time. Every fiber of her being was screaming to fight back - to defend those who were helpless to defend themselves- but to do so would ruin everything she was working for an ultimately lead to only more death and destruction.
Shaking her head to free herself from that train of thought, Selima turned back into the conversation Sebastion was having with the recruits just in time to watch him pass his coin purse to the terrified looking men. Inhaling sharply, she gave Sebastion a flat look, clearly less than pleased with what he had done. It ended up working in their favor, as the men seemed only too happy to avoid any sort of conflict, but if the recruits had been of the more sinister variety that little exchange could have really fucked things up.
Still, a tiny part of her was pleased that this would cause just a little less bloodshed.
Watching their backs as they left in the opposite direction, a screech coming from the direction of the town had her twitching her ears and turning her head in the direction of the town. At the tone of Sebastion's voice, she turned her full attention towards him. "Right, ideas..." she murmured, stumped up for a moment. Truth be told she was rather surprised he was giving her the lead in this situation - after all, he was a Vice Admiral - but it did make sense since she had been working this mission longer and so had a better sense of the situation.
"This isn't a resupply, it's a test," she started, speaking quickly. "They'll use this to find out which newbies to get rid of. It's like..." here she paused, emotions getting the best of her as anger flashed behind her red eyes, "it's like a game to them." Here another scream, this time closer, Selima began walking swiftly in the direction of the noise. "We've just got to try to minimize civilian casualties without breaking cover," the way she said it made it sound like it was easy, but in reality, it was a monumental task. "We shouldn't be here long," she added, casting a look over her shoulder at Sebastion.
"Once we're back on the ship we can work on the true plan," Selima's eyes glinted, a determined look on her face, "mutiny." It really was the most obvious plan when one thought about it - given the fact that a huge portion of the crew was being held against their will. The difficulty would come with trying to win over a few of the core crew, but she already had a faint plan for that. Breaking through a line of bushes, Selima had unknowingly led them to the town - the direction that the screams were coming from.
Just a few feet away willing and unwilling members of The Chaos Pirates ran through the town, ducking in and out of houses and shops, arms laden with whatever they could get their hands on. Some of the more brazen civilians were attempting to fight back as best they could, but it was clear they were heavily outnumbered and didn't have a chance in Hell succeeding. As she watched one of the pirate crew - willing or unwilling, she didn't recognize the man - lifted an ax and prepared to swing it down on some poor townsperson. Without really thinking, Selima reached for the whip at her waist and flicked it out. It wrapped itself neatly around the pirate's ankle and she gave it a sharp tug, causing the man to lose his footing and trip. With another flick, she pulled the whip back quickly before the man had a chance to get to his feet and figure out what had happened to him.
Thankfully pirates weren't exactly the smartest bunch, or at least this lot wasn't.
"You need to grab something to bring back," She informed Sebastion, still hovering on the edge of the town and keeping a sharp eye out for any opportunity to help in whatever small way she can. "Just, anything. Something shiny," she added. If he were to bring back a haul of his own it would help to establish himself among The Chaos Pirates - and so, if rumors began to swirl once they began to set up the plan for the mutiny it would help to make them seem less suspicious. This was going to be a very touchy mission, and they needed to cover themselves from every angle possible. Being discovered before they were ready would ruin everything.

"We are the heroes of our time"
It was always a trying test of his conviction for Sebastion to zone out the painful cries of innocence when he was in the midst of vile pirate affairs. Years of service had helped instill a sense of calm while within the throws of adversity, though a part of him still yearned to save every last innocent life he could. Now was such a time that prevented him from seeking justice, as his duty demanded secrecy. While for the most part retaining a cool and collected facade, Sebastion still was unable to completely restrain furrowing his brow and lips in a wince of anger. As best he could he attempted to focus only on what Selima was informing him of at present without letting his ears linger on the outcries of injustice.
When Selima was finished, Sebastion gave a pause before responding, in order to ruminate on his next course of action. He scanned their surroundings tentatively in an attempt to decide where to seek something of notable value that might please their crew members. Amongst the incinerating landscape sat one particular house that seemed rather fanciful in its architectural design compared to other homes in the vicinity. It sat atop a hill in the near distance, smouldering under the voracious devastation of the ever-spreading flames. Who ever resided in that home must have something of worth. He knew he had better be quick if he wished to claim something before the flames consumed too much.
The crack of Selima's whip turned Sebastion's attention back to her from his distracted thoughts in time to hear her confirm their required urgency. He gave her a conceding nod before adding his own thoughts. "Excellent idea Selima. Mutiny might just be the ticket we need to instigate instability within their ranks. Why, with such a reluctant crew it should not take much to coerce most of them. ". With that said Sebastion turned towards the house he had spotted to begin his own search, although he quickly remembered he had forgotten to detail his current intentions. "Ah right, I'll keep an eye out for something shiny" he began while motioning towards the house atop the hill over yonder. "See ya back aboard the ship. We shan't linger too long as you said Lieutenant. Meet me in the ships food cellar when you can" he continued before finally turning to make his way to the house.
Upon reaching the homes doorstep, Sebastion was dismayed to see the front entrance had collapsed upon its self. Wafts of smoke cascaded towards him leaving it difficult to see inside. Not wanting to spend more time than he needed seeking an entrance, the marine coated one arm in magma in order to send a projectile of molten rock towards the structures wood and brick exterior. The clutter of rubble before him did not take long to subside under the melting caress of his magma, leaving him a handy way into the house. Once upon the homes foyer, he noticed a golden gem encrusted vase, left surprisingly undisturbed by its hostile environment sitting atop a marble table. Grabbing it under one arm, Sebastion did not tarry long before venturing further into the home only to have the wooden floor give way beneath him. After a fit of coughing from the dust settling around him, he noticed that he was now surrounded by shelves of fine wines. It seemed luck was on his side this day.
Sitting in the opposite corner of room were a number of empty kegs which the marine hurriedly grabbed after setting down his vase. The impending sense of urgency upon his shoulders left him bursting open a plethora of succulent wines in order to pour into a vile concoction within the barrel. He doubted his brutish fellow crew members would care much for what they drank so long as it got them inebriated. After a couple minutes the keg was filled to the brim and ready to haul back to the ship along with the vase.
The brunt of the flames proved unable to deter Sebastion as he made his way back to the front entrance due to his immunity to heat. It took a moment to harden his resolve before carrying onward, as he gave one last glance towards the burning town, his mind filled with fleeting thoughts of remorse.
It did not take long to make his way back to the ship after looting his fair share. A foreboding muscle laden crew member sat as a sentry by the docks proving to block Sebastion's path for a time as he demanded to see what Sebastion had obtained. "Oi oi, what do we have 'ere? That's a pretty little vase ain' it? You can leave that wit me 'an i'll make sure it makes its way to the captain just fine." the pirate ordered with a chuckle, clearing wishing to take credit for the find for himself. Sebastion merely shrugged in response before setting it down aside the man. The oaf gleamed in satisfaction before inquiring into the keg he had also been carrying. "An what's in this 'ere keg? Hope ya found some good stuff" the man added as he grabbed at the keg and pulled him along with Sebastion closer to take a whiff. "Oooh, delicious stuff that is" the man said with a puddle of drool forming at his mouth. What was he a dog?
"Aye mate, this is definitely some of the good stuff. Now if you would be so kind as to let me through I'll store it away for the Captain" Sebastion responded losing his patience with the scoundrel. "Aye sure but between me an' you I might 'ave ta try some of this me self first. Don' stow it away outta plain sight ya 'ere?" the man continued. Sebastion gave another nod before carrying on under the following boisterous laughter of the idiotic man. Now all he had to do was stow the keg away in the ship's cellar and await Selima's return.

A very small, very pleased smile graced Selima's face briefly. It seemed Sebastion thought well of her plan, which was a sorely needed ego boost. Having been undercover for so long, and having made such little progress, had steadily chipped away at Selima's self-confidence. Now, though, hearing that a Vice Admiral of all people, approved of her plan helped to make her feel much better about herself. It also helped greatly that Sebastion seemed to be giving her the lead on this mission - perhaps it wasn't all that bad that he'd crashed her mission.
The smile was short-lived, though, because as soon as Sebastion left to head towards the abandoned-looking home the sound of breaking glass had Selima's head snapping in the opposite direction. It seemed The Chaos Pirates had taken to vandalizing the village now that most of the villagers had realized they were no match and fled into hiding. As distasteful as it was, watching the needless destruction, it also meant that they were on their way out of the village. The Chaos Pirates had a disgusting habit of destroying everything in their wake on the way out - some sort of logic that if they couldn't take it aboard the ship then no one should be allowed to have it. Typical, illogical pirate thinking.
Just as Selima made a move to start leaving, heading towards the path that would lead out of the village, a rock soared through the air and collided with her shoulder. Grunting in pain, she spun around and tried to determine where the projectile had come from. Before she could lock on to whoever was attacking her, more rocks were thrown in her direction. Raising her arms to protect her face, she took a few hasty steps backward before clumsily tripping over one of the rocks that had been thrown at her and falling on her butt. Just as suddenly as the rocks had come at her they stopped, and there was the familiar sound of struggling before Silver-Eye himself stepped out from behind a nearby home - clutching a boy who looked to be about eleven by the neck.
"Havin' a bit of trouble, ay Kitten?" Silver-Eye mocked, giving the boy a good shake. Grumbling to herself, Selima hastily got back to her feet and brushed the dust off of herself. "Now, what type o' punishment should this lil' whelp get?" Silver-Eye mused aloud, giving the child another rough shake. There was a clear bruise already forming on the boys face, and despite the defiant look on his face, Selima could see the fear clearly in his eyes. Taking a few quick steps forward, Selima extended her claws fully and sunk them into the boy's shirt, careful not to accidentally scratch him. "Let me do it," she hissed, trying to make herself sound as threatening as possible. It seemed Silver-Eye must have trusted her more than she thought because a moment later he let go of the boy leaving Selima gripping him."Don't hav' too much fun, Kitten. Ships leavin'," he laughed, turning and walking away.
Selima stood still, waiting for the sound of his laughter faded before releasing her grip on the boy. He immediately sprang back, raising his fists as if he meant to strike her, but Selima merely huffed out a laugh and walked right past him. "Go find your parents, kid," she called over her shoulder as she took off towards the ship at a light jog. She couldn't offer him much more help, but at least he was relatively unharmed. Fate seemed to be on her side today because as soon as she reached the docks she met up with the two men Sebation had given his Berri to earlier. They were carrying a huge crate between the two of them, and Selima fell into line with them. They past the sentry with little difficulty, and while the two men went to pack away the crate of supplies Selima went in the opposite direction and headed toward the ship's cellar.
It was, thankfully, empty save for Sebastion - who Selima was happy to see was in one piece. Of course, since he was a Vice Admiral Selima hadn't been too worried about him, but all the same, it was good to see that no misfortune had befallen him. "There are already a few people I know who would be open to the idea," Selima stated, picking up their conversation right where they had left off. Hopping on top of a barrel she took a seat, keeping her gaze on the stairs to the cellar to make sure they wouldn't be interrupted. This wasn't a conversation she wanted other people to overhear. "The difficult part is going to be getting the pirates on our side, and we need a few of them if we want to succeed."
