"...Yes, I've traveled to quite a few places now in search of it. This was the Ishikiri, you said?" The woman turned, holding the long ornate blade in her fingertips. Under the open market sun, a large hat kept her shaded. Long, silvermoon hair was accompanied by unnaturally blue lips. Unusual in the marketplace of a pirate town, but not overly so.
"That's the one!" puffed the wandering salesman as he glided over past his other swords, few in number though they were and touted for their exceptional make. Suzie had been looking for this man for some time now, for both the nature of his wares and the headache it provided to the Marines. But she was alone. As it turns out, the rest of her crew were not as fond of playing dress-up as she was.
'A Wazamono grade,' she mused. She grasped the blade in one hand, testing its weight. Longer and heavier than she'd like, which was sadly a common problem when she dealt with swords. Tilting her wrist sharply, the blade shifted to gleam in the sun.
Her eyes narrowed as she appraised it. While no true expert, she had a simple test for any blade touting revered quality. Slowly and deliberately, she chipped away at the rock that was her Devil Fruit power till only a fraction of light could pierce through. But just a fraction was enough: with an unmistakeable crack, the blade began to split down the center.
With a sigh, Suzie lowered the sword back onto its stand like putting a spirit to rest. Stone Cutter indeed; all she ever found were fakes. Alarmed, the merchant would begin to sputter in protest.
"My apologies," Suzie would begin, casting a gaze in his direction. "But if this were truly one of the 21 O Wazamono, and it cracked in my tender hands... shouldn't you be a bit more afraid?"

455 WORDS SUZIE Q BY MINNIE OF GS I want to ride a train up my lover's arm, destination the brain, then climb out and find out what's going on Probably the only man wearing a suit on this entire island, walking amidst a group of fangirls that doted him as if he were a king. Well he was, but not the kind that they hoped he was; in fact this group of fan girls consisted of everything from escorts to thieves and even some low-bounty pirates. All of whom clung to his body, squeezing his muscles and giggling between whispers. His cheeks turned flush and a stupid grin consumed his face as eyes seemed to literally take the shape of hearts bursting out of socket.
In reality, none of them gave two fucks who he was. Asgard stood out as a tourist, oblivious to the manipulative advances of these local hussies. While his head swelled from all the compliments and adoration, the women checked every pocket they could find, robbing him of some loose change. "Are you REALLY broke?!" They stormed off in anger and failure, cursing him all the way. Shallow broads never thought that a King kept his treasure in the castle. Get it? Because he's a literal castle.
Whatever...
While he seemed fully present in his crowd of followers, his attention had long-since drifted to a conversation he heard in the distance. A good arms dealer always picks up on any talk of weapons or potential clients, and this woman was clearly an outsider—her formal manner of speech too proper for these derelicts. When the group of girls abandoned him, he feigned disappointment. In truth, he was more curious about this woman and her interest in the Wazamono grade swords. As he approached the merchant's stand, he watched her discern the blade a counterfeit, knowing full well that no simple merchant could get his hands on such a weapon. They were even rare amongst the Black Market, reaching sky high prices most could only dream of.
"Get the fuck out of here you fraud!" he barked, sliding his right foot beneath the wooden frame of the stand. With a quick jerking motion, he lifted, launching the table and all adjacent swords air bound. When the merchant stood to defend himself, sword in hand, the cheap forgery was knocked in half by a high-speed kick. What a fucking show off. As he stood now, trembling hand gripping the broken sword, Asgard leaned in real close from a towering height.
"Boo." The shivering man let out a shrill scream before taking off down the street. He was surprised that actually worked, though Jack would probably smack his teeth out for such a half-assed remark. What happened next was completely unexpected. Alex turned towards Suzie, laughing awkwardly as he scratched the back of his head. 'Think! Words! Cool! Edgelord!'
"Your lips are blue," he finally croaked. 'FUCK.'

She had had a plan. A deliberate, cautious, thought-out plan. But said plan went blown to smithereens as an exceedingly long leg kicked up the stand in front of her. Clutching her pearls Suzie Q leaned back, eyes squinting against the wind of the motion as the stall blew apart, wood splinters and metal fragments flying past her face while the table went sailing into some other poor merchant's stall. Voices cried out as the swords fell back to earth, narrowly missing some of the onlookers. As the dust settled she craned her neck skyward—one hand still at her chest, the other so as to keep her hat on her head. The screams of the terrified man were the lovely backdrop of perhaps the most anticlimactic words she'd ever heard. "Your lips are blue."
"Ah... Yes."
...
Somewhere in the distance a cricket chirped.
... Suzie cleared her throat, very conscientious of how his height made his crotch directly at her eye-level and thus trying to avoid staring at it at all costs. "Well! You've saved me the trouble of looking through all his other swords, I suppose." She gave him a weak smile, feeling like she was trying to break an iceberg with a toothpick. What kind of madlad was he? At least he complimented her lips. Probably. The woman would start to bend over to collect the fallen swords, firstly because she detested the disorder and secondly because she genuinely worried about anyone hurt in the transpired events. And her Mero Mero senses were tingling: looking about, Suzie noticed a growing gaggle of thots swooning over the man's senseless violence. Annoyed, the glare of an ice queen was enough to keep them at tolerable distance. "I don't suppose you're a sword collector?" she asked him, looking up with a bundle of blades in her arms. "You seem to, ah, take great offense at that merchant. And I'm in need of some luck right now."

532 WORDS SUZIE Q BY MINNIE OF GS I want to ride a train up my lover's arm, destination the brain, then climb out and find out what's going on "Something like that..." he paused, a gentle smiled filled his lips. "You can call me As...ger." he cooed from his towering perch, noting the flush of her cheeks as she took in all of him with her eyes. But her eyes turned to daggers thrown at an onlooking crowd of fair maidens, it seemed she drew a fierce line around her territory. By the time her focus shifted back to the twelve-foot stranger, he was hunched over extending a hand to greet her. Nothing drew someone in like human contact, a firm yet gentle grip could go a long way, especially validating yourself as a trustworthy person.
Hell, she wanted a legendary sword and Asgard—or Asger as he foolishly introduced himself—had the perfect sword for her. A local sect of smugglers was in known possession of a legendary sword, Yawarakai-Te, meaning "Tender Hands" in the native tongue of Wano Country. Unfortunately, the reason that Alex knew this was due to their competitive nature with the Founder's Club. The only reason he had lost it to those fucking lowlives, was because the seller went behind his back and sold his pack without any chance to counter. He could've doubled their price, easy. Instead, they fucked him over and made him look bad in front of his superiors. Asgard hardly took anything personally, until it came to business. If you didn't honor your word, Alex considered that the biggest insult and he could be a vindictive son of a bitch.
When an opportunity presented itself, he was quick to seize it; often emploring a range of personal skills and knowledge of human nature—things he had collected over the years. This outsider was searching for a great Wazamono blade, yet her form seemed rigid and her mannerisms sculpted by an advocate of the "civilized world". You could hear it in her speech, the way she bent over to collect and organize the swords he'd knocked down. The silver hair and blue lips were quite unique but almost seemed too eccentric for her personality. In fact, they almost seemed to compensate for something. 'Why would a woman dressed like her be seeking such a magnificent blade? A Present? No. She tested the quality of the first blade herself.'
While this inner dialogue bubbled through synapses in his brain, only a brief moment had passed since his introduction. "My grandfather was a blacksmith, taught me all about 'em as a kid," Asgard began, eyes shifting towards the ground, "It just really bothers me seeing someone ruin the reputation of blacksmiths." This was such a warm lie, every expression on his face held true, as it had from the moment they crossed paths.
"The truth is, I do know where you could find a Wazamono grade sword here on Jaya. It's too dangerous. Forget about it and find another gift for your fiancé." 'Hook, line and sinker.' As soon as the words had fled his lips, he turned on his heel and casually began walking away from the woman. She was on an island of criminals, seeking a legendary blade with the outward appearance of a noble; if his suspicion was right then surely she'd accept his challenge.

[attr="class","cherrymain"] [attr="class","cherrytop"] [attr="class","cherrylyrics"]sour you don't know me better. [attr="class","cherrybody"]Every dubious thought that fluttered through his mind dropped through hers like a rock in a pond. The frigid, delicate purveyor of relics and the flippant, suit-wearing blacksmith. Why not. As the long-legged man bent down to offer his hand, Suzie carefully placed the sharp repertoire on a nearby undisturbed table before responding gingerly with her own pale fingers, mildly surprised at the fact that his were regularly proportioned. It was easy to get caught up in his height and picture him as an actual giant.
"But it would seem their reputation is alive and well," she said, face impassive against his molding features even as the girls in the background reared like sea monsters. For someone who went to great lengths not to indulge in her great gifts, his wanton abuse of his was a vice. Wrong, pervasive, and inciting a sense of jealousy in her now paper-thin ideals.
Her other hand smoothed out the Wano-styled dress that she wore, long and sleek in the breeze with ample silk for hidden dragons. The hat was admittedly of a culture closer to home. All in all it was certainly an eccentric, bold look. As was the twelve foot flashing suit.
A few more words and he turned unexpectedly, her hand flying apart from his with the drop of some scathing words that came straight from left field. For a moment she was stunned. Between the violent kick, the sweet smile, the firm grip, and the abrupt bile he was turning out to be moodier than a Suzie at the start of every month. In addition to not believing that she would want the blade for herself.
'Rude. He likes games? Alright then.'
Suzie clasped her hands together, eyes wide and vulnerable as his long legs carried him away. And how could such a fragile and feminine voice carry so damn far?
"A-a real legendary sword? I don't suppose you could sell it to me, c-could you? I think I know a way that could make it worth your while... ❤"
Sure enough all the heads of the crowd he has so proudly arrived by swiveled and turned at the prospect of gold-digging. What more could a woman want? He was tall, blond, clearly quite strong, well-dressed and thus likely rich, able to make an ice queen swoon... and he had an impressive sword?!
Asger had no chance.
They swarmed him. Pirates, escorts, and thieves them all; hands tugging, searching, slipping into every nook and cranny. A girl in pig-tails jumped up to grab his tie, swinging with her feet kicking in the air as she threatened to topple him. A jealous fox mink followed suit and grabbed the first's ankles. Soon the cooing and vying for attention turned to a carnage of females bickering and clawing at each other. Somewhere in the throng was a cry—someone probably just got stepped on. And damn, was that a slap? 'Cause why was there so much blood?
Suzie would trail after the commotion, careful not to incite the crowd's attention but placing herself just so that she could make long, unfaltering eye contact with the man as she folded her arms. 463 WORDS SUZIE Q BY MINNIE OF GS I want to ride a train up my lover's arm, destination the brain, then climb out and find out what's going on Asgard froze in a stupor at the last of her words, a bright red filling his cheeks. Before he had a chance to respond, he had sensed the first of his problems, hands ran up his legs and dove into his pockets, disguised in seductive gestures. The towering castle nearly topped when one of the girls swung from his tie like a monkey on a jungle vine. The added weight of the mink was enough to snap the tie right off his neck. Just as their advances turned violent, he managed to escape the pandemonium, stepping over them like a puddle in the road.
Suzie's crossed arms and glaring expression went completely unnoticed, Asgard was busy stripping the last of his tie and replacing it with a neat black bow. "I grew up the son of a blacksmith, but fashion has always been my true calling," he mused with a smirk, closing the distance between the two with a couple steps.
Even though he drooled like a dunce over all the adoration from his fans, he wasn't about to bend over backward for a woman he just met. She was just one fish in an entire sea, and he was a shark, he could have any fish he wanted. With an entirely cold and stoic expression he turned to face her, "It's not mine to sell. If you want it, I'll give you the information you need. Even if you were a damsel in distress, I'm no knight, this a town full of low lives and everything comes at a price." If she expected him to work for free and do all the work, then he'd take the legendary sword for himself.
In truth, he had no interest in the weapon. There was always another trick up his sleeve, there wasn't time to worry about a relic when his reputation was on the line. He had to recover the lost shipment and set the record straight to the competition. Make it clear who was in control of this town, and all of Paradise for that matter. Unbeknownst to them, they were in quite the predicament. Eventually the cards would come to the surface and he would be exposed, but for now, it remained a mystery. Beyond that, they were mere business associates in his mind, but at the moment he saw a potential for it to grow into something more.
If they could find a compromise in their goals and work together, it offered the potential for future endeavors. Alex had long since figured out that excelling in this world was largely about who you know rather than the actions you take. He rarely burned bridges, in fact, he made it an end goal to turn his enemies to allies. 'Everyone has a price.'

[attr="class","cherrymain"] [attr="class","cherrytop"] [attr="class","cherrylyrics"]sour you don't know me better. [attr="class","cherrybody"]It was hard to look down on someone who was twice your height, but somehow Suzie Q managed to do it. The disdain was evident in the curl of her lips at the way he carried himself, from bumbling buffoon to aloof salesman at the drop of the hat. Something wasn't right here. She didn't like to be toyed with, and his two natures had that in common.
But she, too, could swap between facades as it suited her.
"I want the sword," she stated flatly, a black hole in human skin. "And I'd rather get it by myself. But I need information, which you have. So tell me what you want in exchange for it and let's make this painless. No games."
She raised a hand, seemingly towards him but in actuality was directed at the girls inching closer behind him. They could hardly forget about his posse, could they? But with that motion by the blue lady it seemed an ill wind swept through the air, relaxing the tense coils of their posture. Like all the attraction had been whisked out of them and they stood there, the crowd, blinking in mild confusion and major disinterest. Soon, they would begin to disperse.
With that done, she eased a little bit. Hopefully they could converse seriously with no distractions, unless he wanted to hit her with a cliffhanger and walk off again. Of all the people she'd met he was certainly not the one she'd prefer to do business with, insofar unpredictable and untrustworthy, but she preferred not to turn bridges if at all possible. Hunting the blade which she had come here for had been difficult at best as an outsider, but despite her appearance she was loathe to let things be done on her behalf. Doing honest and hard work appealed to her more than squabbling with the black market, so if she could find someone to thread the strings for her, she could take care of anything else.
"I'm sorry for the rough first impression, so let me try again. My name is Yotsuba. I deal in antiquaries and relics. It's a pleasure, Asger." This was accompanied by a rather genuine little curtsy of her robes. 552 WORDS SUZIE Q BY MINNIE OF GS I want to ride a train up my lover's arm, destination the brain, then climb out and find out what's going on Her blunt statement was met with cold reserve. As Asgard turned away from her, he nodded, beckoning that she followed. "The pleasure is mine, Yotsuba." A businessman at heart, he preferred this manner of speaking, it was straight to the point rather than dealing with walls of illusion—masks we wore to appeal to others. As he had thrown his mask to the curb, she removed hers, letting him feel the passion in her statement. She wanted that sword for herself, as much as he had assumed. 'Not a damsel at all.'
"Truth be told, this same group of smugglers stole a precious family heirloom—a halberd passed down from my great-grandfather." His words echoed with bitter regret, eyes drifting the ground as if searching for something he had lost. As he led her away from the marketplace and into the poverty-stricken side of town, they could see the real sadness that was Mocktown. Homeless slept against the walls of buildings, abandoned animals with protruding ribs from starvation. A small girl ran up, tugging at the folds of her Wano-styled dress, eyes as wide and glossy as her own had been just minutes before. "Please, could you spare some change? My brother and I...we're on our own."
Before Yotsuba could react to her plead for help, Asger crouched to level with her, still towering over the small girl. A warm, genuine smile crept forth from his lips. She looked at him with great suspicion when he reached into his jacket pocket. In truth he was reaching inside his castle, plucking a small sack of berri from the depths of its chambers. After he plopped it into her expecting hands, he ruffled her hair before rising to full height. It was tough seeing this shit first hand, in fact, there was so much of it there was little you could do without a great amount of influence and power. The coins might be enough to feed them for a couple weeks, but if they weren't careful it could just as easily be snatched away by another suffering beggar.
Looking to Suzie, his gaze said they were done here; slowing his stride so she could keep pace, he edged forth into narrow alleys of the Mock Town slums. Reaching the end of a dark backstreet, it opened into a small clearing of dumpsters met with a chain-link fence—the top of which was lined with spirals of barbed wire. Beyond the fence, a huge dirt lot with what appeared like an abandoned warehouse. Tinted windows covered the five-story facility, making it impossible to discern what really happened behind closed doors; the only give of suspicious activity was so blatant a child could see not to approach. Multiple armed guards secured the outside of the building, equipped with a range of weapon from pistols and rifles to swords and axes. There were visibly two men with rifles on the roof of the building, casually checking the area through the scopes of their flintlocks.
"This is their compound... pretty heavily armed." At this point he turned to her, scrutinizing ever micro-expression of her response. Was there confidence in her eyes or fear? Asgard maintained the same stoic expression, they were invisible in this small lot of dumpsters but he was hardly one for playing it lowkey.

[attr="class","cherrymain"] [attr="class","cherrytop"] [attr="class","cherrylyrics"]sour you don't know me better. [attr="class","cherrybody"]Mildly surprised, but ultimately equally indifferent at the change of pace in their conversation, the woman followed along after the much longer-limbed male as they traversed from a scenery once vibrant and eccentric to derelict and cracked. "A sword for a halberd, easy enough," she said as her silk trailed just above the sodden ground. She had no use for large, brute weapons like that... though truth be told, she struggled to imagine her companion wielding any traditional weapon at all.
An urchin scrambled by to capitalize on the obviously not-belonging duo, picking the woman, which was also not surprising. Yotsuba peered down, adjusting her hat as she registered the dirt-smeared nose and glassy eyes. Before she could do anything else her large partner crouched down to display a similar gentleness he had done with herself before, handing the vagabond a sack full of presumed coins, ones that interestingly enough Yotsuba had not heard the jingle of prior.
"Such kindness means little," she said softly as they drifted along, unsure of if the gesture was true or a show for his customer. "Giving her what she has not earned is like pouring sand in her hands... and perhaps it makes her a target." Her head turned to watch the girl run off, back to a garbage nest with a slate of tin fence roof, an old advertisement for ale crinkling through its rust from rain. As she reunited with a slightly older, more weathered-looking boy who beamed and celebrated their findings, numerous other beggar princes burned their ravenous eyes onto the scene. Wolves and sheep. "Seeing another elevated often brings the eye of others who suffer," she noted sadly as they left the area, leaving that one mystery to fate.
And maybe all you've done is cause more pain.
Still, she liked him for it.
Eventually they stopped under the awnings of an alleyway as they scrutizined the obstacle before them. Just another ramshackle place, as far as Yotsuba was concerned. More cockroaches fighting over for scraps, with the dim hope that a diamond would be found in the refuse. She was not hopeful of the prospect of find her sword here, but she was glad that things were careening along to familiar territory and quickly at that. She looked up at Asger, who was already watching her.
She smiled. "Are you a combatant, Asger? I won't ask you to put yourself in needless danger." She pat the hilt of the white, rather out-of-place sabre on her hip. "But if the only option is to walk up their front gate, I hope you'll be alright with lethal force. There may not be the luxury for anything less." 495 WORDS SUZIE Q BY MINNIE OF GS I want to ride a train up my lover's arm, destination the brain, then climb out and find out what's going on "Hmph." Despite his uppity grunt, he could resist the smug grin that took shape in his lips. "I dabble," he mused, resisting laughter at the irony of his words. Crouching down to the ground, they were pretty much eye to eye at this point. "Follow my lead, milady." The fact that she could see through his undisguised bullshit only made him want to press it more. In his eyes, sarcasm was an intellectual high-five that went over a lot of people's heads. Without another word, his feet pressed hard into the ground, propelling him into the air as he flipped over the fence, landing gracing in a cloud of dirt.
Almost immediately, every gun in the vicinity was aimed at him. Lifting his hands into the air as a gesture of surrender, he smiled, edging forward slowly and calmly. "Turn around and leave now if you value your life!" The warning blared out over a megaphone clutched by their self-proclaimed leader, not of the facility, but of the guards out front. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Right now I have you surrounded, a rifle aimed at each of your heads." Was this guy fucking stupid? Did his mom drop him on his head as a kid? The guards weren't sure, but tensions were rising and they were beginning to lose patience.
"Actually, I have a message from the mayor of Mock Town." The guards began lowering their weapons at his claim, curious of the note he implied as he reached for folds of his jacket. "I lied." About two things. Peeling back the curtains of his suit, a series of pew-pews were all that was heard before a cluster of cannon balls took shape just before him. Suzie, who was behind him, couldn't clearly see how it happened. As the projectiles vaulted forth, they exploded against the ground and the exterior of the building, throwing bodies into the air like confetti. Two rifle shots rang out as clear as day, but a quick glance to the roofline revealed two men falling to their deaths—if the bullets hadn't already done the deed.
In a matter of seconds, he had nearly cleared the area, leaving a gaping hole where the doors used to be. An alarm central to the building took to the air as men flooded out of the building and from the surrounding alleys. Yeah, they weren't fucking with some small time smugglers, they were taking on a whole gang by themselves. Asgard had neglected to mention that part for good reason, but here they were, surrounded by enemies who had what they wanted. He'd merely opened the floodgates, now it was time to see if she could actually use that sword she so proudly showed him.
Stopping for a moment, he looked to Yotsuba, who was met with an awkward smile as he scratched the back of his head. What the fuck was he doing at a time like this?

[attr="class","cherrymain"] [attr="class","cherrytop"] [attr="class","cherrylyrics"]sour you don't know me better. [attr="class","cherrybody"]The woman resisted her own urge, the one to roll her eyes as Asger gave her a solemn milady and cleared the fence. Yotsuba herself managed a few steps, weaving her fingers through the links before she hesitated in following him over. Instead she watched him stride out into the open all cocksure. His entrance made pinpointing all the security easy enough, though she hesitated to pick them off straight away. Instead she stood, watching him, wondering if she needed to intervene in some way.
Turns out, not. She couldn't quite make out what happened but before she knew it cannonballs were raining through the air, originating somehow from in front of himself; their boom and the shots of rifles sailed through the air for a hectic moment before sizzling into silence. But she knew enough about what was and wasn't possible. Her hands tightened around that metal chain fence. Devil Fruit.
No time to ponder it though. A deafening alarm rang out as enemies flooded out the gates and over the rooves and causeways of the nearby alleyways.
"Goodness," was all she said as Asger turned around to give her a sheepish look. With a minuscule shake of the head she let herself have one, single, resounding sigh, her body slouching momentarily at the thought of all the effort she was about to make, her sabre clinking in its scabbard.
Slice. The fence that separated them came apart cleanly with the almost imperceptible gleam of white. Yotsuba strode forth into the arena, holding her blade in one hand, almost humming in the silence. "Well? Come on, then," she demanded of the fodder with a beckoning motion of her free hand.
The first gunshot was quick, and with a small step Yotsuba turned sideways, watching the bullet ring through the air in slow motion where she had been moments previous. The next moment she bolted, a fluttering of cloth in her wake. Unlike a typical Wano samurai's motions, hers were one-handed, a duelist, thrusting rather than slashing. With a wide swing she drove the sword point-first through an axeman and cleanly straight out with all the ease of dipping a toothpick into butter. Ducking, weaving, dancing from target to target while avoiding the bullet hail in a dance of blue and white, the sword flitting from hand to hand with ease and flourished like a lazy fan as she spun.
By the time she had cleared the melee frontline she heard the click of a different weapon. Peering up, what she could only describe as a canister shaped vaguely like a missile barreled towards her from one of the alleyway rooftops. With a cry, she knocked her sword arm back and then flung it forward to meet the projectile, as if to shatter it head on—but with enormous restraint she merely tapped the canister on its tip with the point of her sword, causing it to freeze mid-air not a few feet away from her.
Blowing strands of hair out of her face, she glanced over at Asger as she took some deep breaths through her mouth, feeling uncharacteristically worked. She was at a distance, and would prefer not to rely on her powers, so she was hoping the dark color of the canister hid the property that it had turned to stone. 479 WORDS SUZIE Q BY MINNIE OF GS I want to ride a train up my lover's arm, destination the brain, then climb out and find out what's going on Glancing to his accomplice, Asgard was surprised to see her fluid movements, dancing through a sea of men that dropped like flies. He watched as she skewered one, then another; only truly worried when he saw the military-grade cannister catapulting towards her. He knew the make and model, like any expert arms dealer, and that it'd result in a catastrophic explosion. While he was at a distance no more than ten meters apart, he began to barrel towards her from the moment he saw it, watching as it froze midair on the tip of her blade. 'What the fuck.
As he was caught up in the moment, connecting this display of power with her earlier discernment of the fake-sword, Alex was oblivious to the man behind him. Bat in hand, the pivot of his feet was followed by a powerful swing and a "CRACK". Shattering in a splay of wooden fragments, the bat cast shrapnel into his attacker's eyes; he fell to the ground, desperately clawing at the darkness in his vision. Standing fully upright, completely unharmed, Asgard glanced back over his shoulder, bulging veins met with an irked expression. A twisted smile took his lips as the arms dealer cocked his head to the side, approaching his assailant with an iron grip on the collar of his shirt. In one motion, he threw his shoulders to the side, engaging the momentum needed to throw the body into a horde of enemies.
To one side of the dynamic duo, the body flung through the air, crashing into a group of thugs. While Yotsuba, if that was even her name, somehow defused the explosion with a strange power, her surrounding assailants grew impatient. All at once they charged her from every angle, unaware of the massive leg crashing towards them like a steel whip. Just above her head, his leg swung in a full arc as he pivoted back on the opposite, shifting his weight in the process. His shin connected with the jawline of his first victim, crashing into the next with a domino-effect that flattened five men to the ground.
Arms crossed over his chest, ivory digits dove again beneath the folds of his suit, reaching for his shoulder holsters. Drawing dual magnums, he extended his arms to full length and aimed to each side of him. Without even looking he pulled the triggers, discharging lead bullets into two approaching thugs; even at this close range, he managed to avoid inflicting lethal injury. One was clipped on the shoulder, the other on the side of his ribs, though they fell to the ground as if perfectly rehearsed. Asgard was growing tired of all the fodder, they were just lamb for the slaughter. Where was the serious threats he knew they posed, but this was just the beginning. It was evident, even outnumbered, the duo was unmatched in skill.
