ITEM NAME: Armguards
DESCRIPTION: Metallic armguards tough enough to deflect common grade bullets / withstand common grade weapon strikes. Can be pierced by high-grade swords, relics, and special abilities. In addition, both are equipped with slender hidden blades, 10 inches long, that extend past the palm when an activation button on the inner sides is pressed.

DESCRIPTION: Blue and pretty much used for everything: fax, taking pictures, communication.

ITEM NAME: Doctor’s Lab Kit
DESCRIPTION: A sealed and often sterilized plastic box containing syringes, vials, glass slides, tubes with cotton swabs, plastic containers, various sizes anesthetic bottles, numbing gel, different size sticking plasters, and various pill bottles (notably: sleeping pills, aconite, antibiotics, painkillers (can also be in powder form), and even multivitamins).

ITEM NAME: Grappling Hook (20 m)
DESCRIPTION: A device with multiple hooks (known as claws or flukes), attached to a rope; it is thrown, dropped, sunk, projected, or fastened directly by hand to where at least one hook may catch and hold. Generally, grappling hooks are used to temporarily secure one end of a rope.

Special Abilities:

The Suna Suna no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create, control, and transform into sand at will, turning the user into a Sand Human. In addition, it permits the user to locate and generate quicksand, sense anything moving or flowing across or through the sand, set off sandstorms, and absorb liquids. The resulting range of abilities with varying effects, some of which can be resisted by degree of durability vs. attack rank (in the case of PCs).

Creation of sand is a prerequisite to using some sand-based abilities when not in naturally sandy terrain: quicksand, sensing movement, sandstorms. Sand creation takes more energy from the user than sand manipulation. 

When it comes to absorbing liquids, these can be extracted from anything the user grasps, causing living things such as humans and plants to wither through dehydration, and also cause all other matter like rocks and land to crumble to dust and sand. Only metallic or ferrous substances are immune to dehydration effects.

The user’s sand turns solid when in contact with liquids, including blood, preventing the sand from dispersing and thus temporarily nullifying the user’s intangible body. Recovering from a ‘dampened’ state requires the employment of moisture absorption, the speed of which depends on the user’s ability rank. Drinking liquids or the user’s own blood do not factor into this equation, anything contained within or pertaining to the user’s body being subject to transformation. The state of being wet does not harm the user by itself.

The user is also subject to all standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.

FRESH - The user has just acquired their abilities and can perform nothing more than simple attacks at a close to mid-ranged proximity (25 meters). While their abilities show moderate capabilities, they lack and true power or precision and mostly serve to supplement combat and augment attacks. Skilled use of their devil fruit powers requires a great amount of focus (perception modifier: superior to most, less focus required), making them vulnerable to distractions and bad timing. Logia users are fully tangible and unable to transform into their element to escape attacks.

NAME: Sand Boost
RANK: Fresh
TYPE: Supplementary
DESCRIPTION: By continuously generating sand under her feet, Kara can propel herself forward at heightened speed (+1) for a short duration (2 posts with a 2 post cooldown). Alternately, she can concentrate propulsion energy to manage a jump (up to 25 m into the air) and subsequently land in a cushioning flow of conjured sand (2 times within 2 posts with a 2 post cooldown). The two variations are mutually exclusive.

NAME: Sand Barrier
RANK: Fresh
TYPE: Defensive
DESCRIPTION: Kara can conjure a barrier made of swirling sand particles to protect against all common grade assaults (regular weapons, regular attacks, one special attack of the same rank), buffering half of damage potential from a more potent attack (power primary, special attacks of a rank above the shied, special weapons), being ineffective against everything special of two or more ranks higher. She can either coat herself or a portion of herself in this, or generate an outward barrier of up to 25 m diameter all around herself with her as center; 10 m diameter, no further than 15 meters away from herself; of 5 m diameter no further than 20 m away from herself. This can be positioned anywhere within specified distance/size restrictions. It can have any shape (though usually spherical or a wall).

The barrier dissipates when broken or upon duration end.
